REMEMBERING STEVE KAUK

Stephen Paul Kauk
April 10, 1983 – July 3, 2022

Steve passed away peacefully at home on Sunday July 3, 2022, at the
age of 39, after a fierce battle with cancer. Steve’s journey over the last
five years demonstrated his relentless courage in facing life’s
challenges with a smile.

Steve leaves behind his loving wife Amy Bartley Kauk and cherished
daughter Claire Frances Kauk. He is sadly missed by his parents Eric &
Kathy Kauk along with his parents-in-law Brian & Donna Bartley;
brothers Sean Oates (Lori); Chris Kauk (Amy); and brother-in-law
David Bartley (Megan). Steve will be lovingly remembered by his aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Steve was dedicated in all areas of his life and his selflessness was felt
by all who knew him. Steve was always willing to go out of his way to
help others. He was strong and never one to complain, even in the face
of a terminal cancer diagnosis.

Throughout his life, Steve built many strong friendships. He was
genuinely always there when you needed him. Steve’s friends thought
the world of him and he valued them deeply.

Steve prioritized his family above all else. The values and integrity
Steve held were instilled through his loving upbringing. Steve’s
immense love for his wife and daughter will continue to be felt
throughout their lives; he will always be part of them.
